A previous post looked at how the NHS "Statistical Process Control (XmR) Tool" Excel Template works with Public View's data, with data being manually exported from Public View and pasted into the Excel Template. This post looks at doing that more efficiently, with a direct database connexion to Public View's Database Service!

We're starting to receive user feedback on the Public View Database Service, which went live earlier this month. The new Service delivers direct schema access to the Public View Data Warehouse.

The new Public View Database Service is now formally out of Beta test and humming nicely.

You may well not notice the little version number at the bottom right-hand side of our web pages, but it's there. It's a complicated number as we need to know precisely what version is which.
